Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Can Ultralite Systems use Narrowband?
Yes, any of our new systems can be set up for Narrowband UVB, or for a UVA/Narrowband UVB combination. Our older systems can always be upgraded and converted as well.
When should we change our lamps?
This is really a personal call with every user. The lamps are typically good for 300-400 hours of use but you will see your output/flux drop and the treatment times start to get longer. When the output drops below 12-15 MW C on UVA and below .500 on UVB we recommend that the lamps be changed. Your patients will be grateful and your treatment times will be kept at a minimum.
Why does our controller lock after each treatment?
Unlock the controller with the Ultralite Maintenance password. Press Select 10, enter. Press clear to cancel the automatic-locking feature.
